Our passion for aviation is matched only by our passion for history.. We already have a number of lovingly-restored vintage aircraft in our fleet including a 1943 Douglas C47/DC-3. With a 90-year aviation legacy, our company’s hallmark is customized aircraft, painstakingly modified to meet the requirements of operators worldwide. We believe this provides the ideal creative environment for the restoration of this national treasure.

Our Mission & Approach

The company literally spans the globe and has operated in over
100 countries. Dynamic Aviation has been a family-owned and operated business since its founding in 1967. Now led by Michael Stoltzfus, the grandson of aviation pioneer Chris Stoltzfus and son of Karl Stoltzfus Sr., the company continues to be a progressive family-run business shaped by nearly 90 years of flight.

Dynamic Aviation operates the largest privately-owned fleet of King Airs in the world, with the distinction of customizing special-mission capable aircraft delivered to anywhere in the world. Operating out of a 700-acre airpark in Bridgewater, Virginia, the facilities include more than 400,000 square feet of office, warehouse, shop, hangar space and a 4,000 foot runway.

Dynamic Aviation’s passion for vintage aircraft doesn’t stop with First Air Force One. The team at Dynamic Aviation have lovingly restored a 1943 Douglas C47/DC-3. Miss Virginia was restored to such a high level of quality and reliability that she successfully flew across the Atlantic Ocean in 2019 to participate in the 75th anniversary of D-Day commemorations in Normandy, France.

In 2021 Dynamic Aviation established NEXTGEN Aviators, an initiative designed to develop the next generation of skilled trades and aviation professionals. This is accomplished through an immersive experience that leads them through hands-on workstations allowing them to practice technical workforce skills firsthand.

Dynamic Aviation’s Vintage Team is now going through every inch of First Air Force One – everything will be either repaired, restored or replaced. First Air Force One will participate in air shows nationwide and commemorative flyovers.
